Saturday, October 22, 2016, Noon-3pm: The 3rd Annual Howl-A-Ween! The community pet day features discounted rabies vaccines, dog licensing, pet adoptions, a pet costume contest with prizes, training demonstration, vet Q&A, reiki healing demonstration, resources for pet owners in need, and other giveaways. The pet costume contest begins at 1:00pm!

Saturday, November 12, 2016, 11:00am-3:00pm: It's My Park gardening day! Volunteers will be doing some light weeding and planting tons of bulbs for spring. We did the same thing last fall, but didn't get far. This year we can get to the other rose beds!

Saturday, December 10, 2016, 5:00pm-7:00pm: Winter Celebration! Tree lighting, caroling, light refreshments, etc.

August 20, 2016: 2nd annual Loaf Fest

Local gallery, Armature Art Space, celebrates talented Bushwick youth in this community music festival hosted by Loaf Muzik. Event features open mic, break dancing, live music, and art. (Photos to come.)

June 18, 2016: Paint-A-Can!

Youth and parents were invited to paint new garbage cans in the park, to make maintenance a little more festive. (More photos!)

May 21, 2016: Second Gardening Event

20 people of all ages showed up to weed the rose garden and plant Black-Eyed Susans

April 30, 2016: First Annual Community Recycling Event 

The community brought out electronics for recycling, clothes for 

Good Will, food scraps for composting, and more. (Photos coming soon.)
